  Harris Teeter is a clean, modern store with just a few quirks. First off I should mention they are closing the store down and opening a new one just down the road. Although I like Harris Teeter I think their prices are generally high for the area and they make you have a rewards card in order to get any kind of savings. Personally I hate that. I have found that if you shop their sales and buy their loss leaders you can get some great deals. The biggest problem comes at checkout. It's hard to get a cashier and when you finally do it's almost impossible to understand what's going on with your bill until they hand you the receipt and you get a chance to look it over. Many times discounts are taken off at the very end and sometimes they miss them. Several times I've had to go to the front counter and ask them to fix my bill. They are really good about it, but what a pain. Oh I like the store but like I said, it has some issues.
